A certified artisan in PMC (silver clay), Geneva Beaufort uses a blend of traditional silversmithing combined with more modern concepts. She has produced a range of silverwork, but specialises in recreating natural items in silver, such as these leaves and shells below.

Geneva currently works and resides in Bridport, Dorset, where she takes inspiration from the lovely surrounding countryside, as you can see. She currently works from home as she has two young boys, but is always on the lookout for local studio space.

Although Geneva works predominantly in fine silver, she is always experimenting with new techniques and the latest ideas. She is currently working on a range of copper pieces combined with the 99% silver that she uses. The majority of  silver on the jewellery market is 92.5%, as indicated by the marking 925, but Geneva prefers to work with the purest silver available for this kind of jewellery. This helps to keep the quality of the pieces at their highest.

If you have any queries about the silverwork or any other stage of the creation process, then please call or email! We are always happy to answer any questions you might have!
